Description

The Chinese dragons symbolize happiness and peace. They are often seen as lucky charms and are posted at home. The dragon stands for different characteristics. With the Chinese dragons there are nine recurring similarities. The head is similar to a camel, its eyes resemble those of a demon. His ears came from a cow or a bull. His horns from a deer. Its neck is that of a snake, its scale dress is descended from a carp. Its teeth resemble those of a wolf and its feet are modeled on those of a tiger. The sculptures made of river stone can be seen at first glance to be of high quality. The hardness of this stone, which is similar to granite, makes it possible to work in great detail. The artists can thus demonstrate their skills all the more strongly and transfer them to the objects.
