Description
Sitting Buddha Japanese. Dhyana position - gesture of meditation. A Buddhasculpture in Japanese style which convinces by its fine elaboration and charisma. Riverstone is a stone similar to granite. This stone is harder than the basanite stone we are used to and can therefore be worked more precisely and in greater detail. Only a few artists have the skills to work this stone into a highlight. Dhyana: The two of hands of this Buddha rests on the knee. “Dhyana” means as much as “connected to contemplation and meditation”
