Description
The Torii is delivered as a kit with closure for inlet into a
foundation. Torii are known and loved around the world as a symbol of
Japan. They are popular in Japanese gardens, landscaping, festivals and
events. These gates are elements of traditional Japanese architecture
that mark the transition from the profane to the sacred in temples and
Shinto buildings. While these are often made of wood or stone in Japan,
we have chosen bamboo as a building material for reasons of
sustainability. General note: Bamboo is a versatile, high-quality,
environmentally friendly and rapidly renewable raw material. Bamboo is
characterised by elasticity and special hardness. We cannot give any
guarantee for bamboo products, as it is a natural product for which the
following points (not a final list) are no grounds for complaint: Bamboo
canes can crack due to temperature fluctuations. Fine cracks can form
up to the gap. Colour differences may occur. Any burn marks are the
result of the heat under which the bamboo poles were straightened
immediately after harvesting if necessary. Bamboo canes can have
curvatures and bends and are not naturally standardized straight poles.
The dimensions are approximate dimensions which may vary. As these are
natural materials, slight deviations are possible!
